We are SO EXCITED to announce that for the first time in several years we will be getting together as a group for our Hike for Hospice fundraiser. Save the date… Sunday May 7th, 1:00 pm and join us at the Lindsay Tract Trails for an afternoon of hiking, snacks and good cheer.
Hike for Hospice is the major yearly fundraiser for Bruce Peninsula Hospice and we need your efforts to reach our goal. You can help, not only by attending on May 7th, but also by setting up a team and reaching out to your family, friends and neighbours to make donations on your behalf. Some may even want to join you on the hike and they will be most welcome. You can register your team online under the ‘Hike for Hospice’ link on our website – bphospice.ca – and then forward that personalized link to everyone you know.
Should you need any help setting up your team, or if you want ideas on how and what to communicate to potential donors, please contact Bob Cunningham at robhcunningham@gmail.com. If we have learned anything during COVID it is that many, many people are eager to contribute to organizations that provide practical and caring support within their communities. So don’t be shy about reaching out. We do receive many contributions from individuals outside our area, province and even country. In addition, please know that pledge forms are available for you to complete for those who would rather give you cash or cheque instead of donating online.
We are delighted to welcome returning sponsors, Tim Hortons, Ebel Quarries Inc./Polycor Ontario and Middlebro’ & Stevens, Wiarton Office. This year we are excited to welcome two new sponsors, Bruce Power and McKenzie’s Pharmacy. Sponsorship by these caring local organizations is a marvelous jump start for our 2023 campaign.
Many thanks to each of you for supporting our fundraising efforts. We can’t wait to see you on May 7th. Bruce Peninsula Hospice is a community hospice providing in-home, non-medical hospice care and grief support in Tobermory, Sauble Beach, Lion’s Head, Wiarton & surrounding rural areas.
