We’re going on a trip! Where to? St. Jacobs Market and Anna Mae’s restaurant. When did you say? Thursday, September 26. How? We are renting a coach. The good news is everyone is invited! Cost will be $85 and that pays for a full dinner and your ride. If you happen to be a Friendship Club member, your trip will be subsidized. September is a beautiful month, the leaves changing and the market is full. We need to know by May 15, 2024 if you are interested and we will book you a seat.
We have had a great month at the Lion’s Head Friendship Club. The trip to the Belmore Pancake Festival was amazing, then the following week off to the Roxy, followed by a great dinner last Saturday and a Euchre tournament at the hall.
Our next event is our luncheon on May 9 at 11:30am. For $7 you get homemade soup, sandwiches, coffee and dessert, followed by 2 speakers and a fun bingo where can you get a better deal and throw in some great companionships.
