THANK YOU

THANK YOU from the Boychuk family.
We would like to say a special thank you to all our friends, family and neighbours for all of the beautiful flowers, cards and donations made in Alex’s memory, the delicious food you brought to nourish our family during his illness and after his passing. We will never forget the wonderful care that was given to Alex both in the hospital and at our home by both Doctors and nurses of the Lion’s Head hospital. A special thanks to Dr. Harpur, Dr. Thomas and Sue Hellyer for all the many house calls and also for the extra emotional support you provided above the usual call of duty.  Also many thanks to the VON Nurses who came to care and became friends of the family, to Mikaleena Breadner of Retire at Home services we certainly would not have survived without your help, care and encouragement. To Pastor Chris Mirrless we have no words for what you did both for my dad and for our family in dad’s last year, and especially in his  last few days…your wisdom and strength was needed and appreciated more than you know. The service you prepared for our dad/husband could not have captured him better. It was honest and real and you helped us laugh on a dark day. Much appreciation for Roger Lapointe who drove down from Chapleau to represent our northern family and gave a beautiful tribute to Alex, a better friend would be hard to find. Thanks to Doug and George Berry who performed some of dad’s favourite songs during the service  and to the Beckett family who brought the church to life with their violins something dad loved so much. Thanks to Brittany Miller (Britts bits n bits) and Connie Tackaberry for preparing the most amazing lunch after the funeral. To George Funeral Home, thanks Brenda and Steve for your professional  guidance and your compassion during this difficult time. To our Bruce Peninsula Family and neighbours it’s  hard to put into words the gratitude and support we feel from this community we live in and are overwhelmed by all that has been done for us.

Sincerely
Joyce Boychuk and family

MUNN – Our family would like to thank everyone that gave us comfort & support during the loss of Dad. Brad for his comforting words and prayers. Princess Hotel for catering a nice lunch after the service. Hospital staff & Dr. Thomas, pall bearers, Whitcroft funeral home, visits, hugs, food dropped off over the past couple of weeks.
