Beloved wife of the late Clarence Hellyer, the late Malcolm McLay and the late Lorne Thompson. Cherished mother of Mike (Norma) of Wiarton, Nelson (Maureen) of Lion’s Head, Bernie (Patti) of Lion’s Head, Cyril (Sue) of Lion’s Head, Kelly of Wiarton and Charlene Hepburn (Norm) of Purple Valley. Much loved grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 11 and great great grandmother of 1. Remembered by sister-in-law Mary Hellyer. Predeceased by parents May (nee Cahill) and John McDonald, brother Bill McDonald and great granddaughter Maisie. The funeral service was conducted from the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to the service.
