Val and Glen Phillips, the owners of Random Ranch on Lindsay Road 5, have very generously asked their ranch visitors to make a donation to The Lion’s Head & District Food Bank. Over the past few months they have collected $500.00 in donations!!
The cheque presentation was made on their ranch with the friendly alpacas posing for the picture. While I was visiting, I learned some very interesting facts about the different alpacas on their farm. For more information you can check out their website at www.randomranchalpacas.com
Face Lift to Food Bank Donation Bin
If you shop at Hellyer’s Foodland in Lion’s Head you might notice a change at their entrance. The Lion’s Head & District Food Bank donation bin has been given a bright and fresh face lift.
You will also see that the Food Bank always needs canned tomatoes, rice, pasta sauce, pasta and cereal. All donations are greatly appreciated!
