Local People Helping Local People: A Community Conversation hosted by Tobermory Health Services Auxiliary (THSA) and the Bruce Peninsula Hospice will take place on September 9th from 6pm-9pm at the Tobermory Community Center. Join us for a Community Conversation and let’s talk about how we care for one another. How can we stay connected, support neighbours and age well – right here in the beautiful community of Tobermory?

This event will be a gathering where residents and representatives from business and community organizations can come together and talk about what it means to age well, care for each other and stay connected in our beautiful Tobermory! An overview of Compassionate Communities and highlights of local supports will be followed by full group discussions.

Bruce Peninsula Hospice is committed to collecting all the input, feedback and insights we receive, and share it with our partners. We want to help convene further discussions to support creating compassionate communities in this beautiful part of the province.

Everyone is welcome, please join us in the conversation. We will provide light refreshments.

Want more information? Please contact Nancy Forgrave or Suzanne Steed or RSVP at info@bphospice.ca or by phone at 519-534-1260 ex. 5612. You can also reach out to Brad Gibbs from THSA at thebradgibbs@gmail.com

The hospice will host a future conversation at Rotary Hall in Lion’s Head, September 10, 2025 11:30am-3:00pm.
