At the time of writing, it sounds like March will be going out like a Lion but that should encourage us to appreciate the warmer days ahead.
SWANS are busy preparing for our Main Fundraiser, the Annual Fashion Show. Plans are mostly completed and the posters will be handed out to the members at the April meeting. You should start seeing the posters in the community over the next week.
As a quick reminder, the show will be held on May 8th at the Arena in Lion’s Head. The doors will open at 6pm for the opportunity to shop the Silent Auction Table and support the Cash Bar provided by the Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula and enjoy some snacks. A BIG change from other years – so PLEASE take note – there will be NO dinner option. However, during the Intermission, there will be an amazing display of decadent desserts for your enjoyment.
The show will begin at 7pm with fashions from Classie Casual Boutique, The Shops at 84 Main and Verna’s. We are so fortunate to have the participation of these local stores!
This promises to be a fun evening, so mark it on your calendars. The SWANS will use the proceeds to support our Canadian community. Hope to see you there.
