Join us for Orchid Fest, an afternoon celebrating the remarkable native orchids of the Saugeen (Bruce) Peninsula. This special event invites nature lovers, artists, and curious visitors to explore the beauty, ecology, and conservation of these fascinating wildflowers.

Hosted by Friends of Bruce District Parks and delivered in collaboration with Parks Canada and the Owen Sound Field Naturalists, Orchid Fest is designed to deepen appreciation for the region’s native orchids and inspire action to safeguard them.

The afternoon will feature an expert speaker, orchid-inspired arts and crafts, and information on the unique habitats where these sensitive plants grow. Visitors will also learn how to observe orchids responsibly and help protect these fragile ecosystems.

Orchid Fest will take place June 13, 2026, 2-3:30pm at the Parks Canada Visitor Centre at 120 Chi sin tib dek Rd, Tobermory. Space will be limited so come early. Entry will be by donation.
