Time To Get Back At It!

President Cathy McLay has sent out the annual email inviting the SWANS members to attend an Executive Meeting, so that is the signal that summer is coming to a close and it is time to make plans for the upcoming year. Summer seemed to fly by! The meeting is an excellent opportunity to review the activities from the past couple of months, although it has been fairly quiet, and the slower pace was welcomed by all. Treasurer Bev Miller will have the framework for our budget prepared and we will look it over to see if any changes are necessary.
Generally speaking, our funds are mainly distributed to the local foodbanks, healthcare and various school projects. The club is always open to discuss other community needs, so we will see if the members have other items to consider for this year. It will be nice to see everyone and set the goals for the remainder of 2024.
