The Lion’s Head rock climbing community has again banded together to give back to the town that hosts us in the summer months. We love coming here to recreate and enjoy nature in this beautiful place, and it’s important to us to show our appreciation by supporting local institutions.
We have previously raised money for the Golden Dawn Senior Citizen home, as well as providing meal delivery for local seniors during the pandemic.
This year, we chose the Bruce Peninsula District School (BPDS) Outers Club as our fundraising recipient, as the values of this club, like love for the outdoors and being good stewards of the environment, are well aligned with ours. With this donation, the Outers Club will be able to buy new pot sets and sleeping pads so this year’s class can have a comfortable sleep after they cook their delicious camp meals!
