The Lion’s Head soccer program has wrapped up for another year. We had 55 amazing players aged 4-12 at Bruce Peninsula District School every Tuesday through all of May and June. And not once did we get rained out! We practised drills and played games through all the temps that this spring offered us.
Each group showed huge improvements through the weeks and showed great commitment to our small community program.
Huge thank you to the coaches Michael and Barbara Mocny with their sons Matthew and Lukas, myself and Adam Martens, Elijah Marcella and Kristen Sharma and the great school aged volunteers Alycia McAlpine, Caysie Stewart and Jake Peters for your support and help to keep the program running and fun each week.
We are so pleased to hear the wonderful feedback from parents and hope to keep it going again next year. Registration for 2026 will be in April. Keep an eye on the Lion’s Head Soccer Facebook page and in the Bruce Peninsula Press.
