Homecoming Street Dance Raises $10,000 for Bruce Peninsula Family Centre

The annual Street Dance on Homecoming weekend/Civic Holiday weekend in Lion’s Head is a popular event for locals, seasonals and visitors coming out to socialize, enjoy music and dance on the street. The event is a major fundraiser for the Bruce Peninsula Family Centre in Lion’s Head. Initial estimates indicate that about $10,000 was raised for the local daycare.

Families and friends turned up on the evening of August 5, 2023, to listen and dance to the music of Adam Hellyer and Midnight Blue. Organizers estimated the attendance to be about 750 persons.

The Coconut Bangers Ball – It’s a Wrap catering were on hand to serve sausages, burgers, donairs and chicken wraps.
