The 12th Annual Sailboat Races on Isthmus Bay, Lion’s Head was held on 10 and 11 June 2023. Ten boats took part on Saturday while there were eight boats participating on Sunday.
Sailors enjoyed good sailing conditions on Saturday, with cloudy skies and light east winds. However, there were colder, wetter and windier conditions with choppy waters on Sunday.

Congratulations to all Sailors from the Tigert Racing Series, 12th Annual races! There were 3 competitive races held over the weekend, with 10 hardy crews taking part in sometimes difficult wind and water conditions!

The Tigert Racing Series Champions were ELUSIVE.
Notice To All Sailors – The Fall Race Series, known as the Hodge Series, will take place on the weekend of September 16-17, 2023. This coincides with the Lion’s Head Annual Terry Fox Run, and our racing fleet has traditionally collected sponsorship money to donate to this worthy cause. Get your friends to come watch the races, and donate some money to the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.
