Did you know The Meeting Place Tobermory (TMP) has a lot of music enthusiasts among its volunteers and community partners? We love this great compliment to all the social and food support work we do.
With another successful Valentine’s Open Mic behind us, the next Open Mic dates are Tuesday March 14 and Tuesday April 11, 7-9 pm at The Meeting Place.
When Marty Oblak started the last ‘song’ of the evening on February 14th Open Mic with a cover medley, and TMP had to make room for dancing, we knew plans to host a spring concert were right. On that note please ‘save the date’ of Saturday May 13th, 8:00 pm for a live concert with The MacKenzie Blues Band at the Tobermory Community Centre.
This concert will be a great ‘kick off to the season’ but also an important fundraiser for The Meeting Place. More information on tickets and how you can support the event will be out soon.
