Lion’s Head, Ontario – The Lion’s Head Figure Skating Club is very excited to be one of 668 sport and recreation organizations across Canada to receive grant funding from Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund.
Along with Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund, we understand the role sport plays in the health and well-being of kids and their families. This grant will go a long way towards helping our club continue to operate.
The only way for our club to financially survive was to receive financial support from an organization like Jumpstart. This year, we needed to find other sources of revenue since most of our traditional fundraising events would not be possible due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Lion’s Head Figure Skating Club thanks the Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund for this grant! This money, along with other donations, will allow the club to continue to operate through this 2020/2021 season
