Tobermory E-Bike Rentals, a social enterprise of The Meeting Place Tobermory (TMP), is excited to announce we have expanded our E-Bike rental service to a second location.
This spring, TMP started looking for a location for a ‘mini’ kiosk closer to downtown Tobermory that would offer good visibility and access. We were pleased that several businesses were interested in supporting this. We landed on working with Adam and Megan Robins of Escarpment Heights Motel who had an ideal location at 17 Hay Bay Road at the overflow parking lot. Our team set up the kiosk and it’s up and running as of June 1st. There are two bikes for rent to start and we will monitor the rental interest from this site – it’s still all self-serve by downloading the app so visitors can leave their car and rent a bike with ease and explore the town and surrounding sites. All rental information is posted at the kiosk.
The main Tobermory E-bike Rental kiosk at 20 Centennial Drive beside the Meeting Place building, has 8 bikes for rent and is open 7 days a week, 9am- 5pm and evening hours come July. This location has a new prebooking feature for half day and full day rentals through our dedicated website tobermoryebikes.ca.
