Matt Chittick (aka Matty Sings), a professional Children’s singer/songwriter from Walkerton, recently released his first children’s album Just Warming Up.
“My passion is to provide children (and their families) with a musical experience that isn’t only fun to listen to, but fills their lives with more joy. Because the world is truly made better by kids and (grand)parents having silly, fun living room dance parties together.” explained Matt.
When not doing Kids’ Music, Matt travels throughout Canada and the world as a professional Musician, Theatre Performer, and Voice Teacher. After welcoming his first child 8 years ago, he has been diving deeper and deeper into the fun world of Kids’ Music.
In February, Matt attended a Choir Workshop in Lion’s Head that was well-attended by local singers and choirs. It was such a hit that the organizer of the workshop, David Warder, hopes to have him return next winter for another one. Matt also regularly hosts sing-alongs at the Wiarton EarlyON Centre where he performs some of the songs off his new album.
