Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula News

Sunday Coffee Socials are continuing through the month of March at Rotary Hall, with two more to come on March 23rd and 30th, going from 10 AM to 2 PM each Sunday.
This recent past Sunday, March 9th, our Coffee Social was held concurrently with a pop-up seed sale, featuring Franken Farms 2025 Seed Collection! This was the second year for the pop-up seed sale which proved to be popular as gardeners came out to get an early start on spring with purchases of vegetable and other plant seeds.
In future, Rotary hopes to combine future Sunday Coffee Socials with other pop-up sales, so watch for these events as they are promoted on our Club facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/RotaryNBP/), and under news stories on our Rotary Club website (https://www.rotarynbp.org/).
Public Presentation at Rotary Hall
On Tuesday, March 18th beginning at 7 PM in Rotary Hall, Matthew, our Rotary exchange student from Taiwan will give a public presentation about his life in Taiwan. Everyone is welcome! We hope to see you there!
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper at Rotary Hall
Thanks to everyone who came out to a nice Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper at Rotary Hall on Tuesday, March 4th. This year’s event was co-hosted by Christ Church Anglican and Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula, and close to 100 people had a delicious pancake supper which included fresh-grilled pancakes with real maple syrup and breakfast sausages, and for dessert apple crisp with ice cream along with beverages! Net proceeds from this event were donated to the Lion’s Head Food Bank.
