February was a quiet time for the SWANS but that’s okay, the rest will do us good.
We returned to a regular monthly meeting in March and there was a lot of energy in the hall. President Cathy McLay welcomed three prospective members to the meeting. We enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by the Lion’s Head Legion Ladies and then got right down to business because there was a long agenda.
The members discussed a few requests for catering and Conveners were signed up to make the necessary arrangements.
Dannah Oliver performed the induction ceremony for the 2024 Executive of Peninsula SWANS. They look like a fun group!
Annual Fashion Show to be held May 9th
SPRING means FASHION SHOW! The groundwork is completed and the members were updated. The fundraising show will be held on May 9th in the Auditorium at the arena in Lion’s Head. The theme is “Okay Barbie, Let’s Go Party!” The decorating committee will work hard to make you think you are in Barbie Land and it promises to be a fun evening. Keep posted for further details in the next edition.
