Local Pickleball Clubs Brings Home Medals from Bigger Together Tournament

The Lion’s Head Pickleball Club (LHPC) was well represented both on the courts and in the stands during the Bigger Together Pickleball Tournament in Wiarton on July 8th. The tournament was a charity event for Big Brothers and Big Sisters and was put on by Cam Taylor of the Taylormade Pickleball Academy.

Approximately 70 people took part playing men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.

Medals were awarded to 3 Lion’s Head Pickleball Club members. Rick Williamson and Bill Floyd received Bronze in men’s doubles, Rick Bryla and his partner Dot Kehrer (Sauble Beach) received silver in mixed doubles. The gold medal winners for mixed doubles were Bret and Lori Shepley from the Tobermory Pickleball Club.

For many of the LHPC members it was their first tournament. Everyone did very well and a good time was had by all! Congratulations!
