Keep the Bruce Clean and Green (KTBC&G) would like to express our sincere thanks to those who continue to support us by donating returnables to 182 Cape Hurd Road. As promised, all funds are directly put back into various community efforts that support our goals.

Most recently the United Church was the recipient of $200 to go towards expenses incurred for takeout containers, at their annual chicken dinner. As you can see from the picture Treasure Gwen Groves and Vi Adams happily accepted our offering!

(L-R): Vi Adams and Treasure Gwen Groves from Tobermory United Church display the takeout containers donated by KTBC&G for their annual Chicken Dinner.

Have you noticed our signs strategically placed as you enter Tobermory and transit around our town? The goal is simple! The more you see and read the message, the more likely there is a chance, that one follows the direction!

We are very excited about giving a presentation to the South Bruce Peninsula Council later this month! Businesses like Teri Hasting’s Remax office and the renamed store “Your Local Meat Shoppe and More” (formally Lamblicious) continue to support us! However, as we make our way down the Peninsula, we are asking for approval from SBP to allow us to advertise our logo/message for everyone to see, as they travel through our beautiful County.

Reader’s Haven in Tobermory has had our promotional items restocked! Hats, bumper stickers and T-shirts (adult and children sizes) are all available! Wear yours with pride, as we send the message and show respect, especially during the next special weekend which is, the Chi-Cheemaun weekend! Followed by long weekends, some people will ask you what the logo stands for, so you are helping spread the message too!
