The recent Scrub the Tub community cleanup, organized by Blue Heron Company with support from Keep the Bruce Clean & Green, was another great success, thanks to the efforts of volunteers and local organizations committed to keeping the Bruce Peninsula clean and beautiful.

The students at St. Edmunds Public School also participated in roadside cleanup excursions, collecting litter and demonstrating outstanding environmental stewardship. Rotarians and members of the Peninsula Bruce Trail Club participated in the “Butt Blitz”, helping remove cigarette waste from public spaces and trails.

Bruce Peninsula District School and Bruce Peninsula Environment Group continued their commitment to the environment through their annual roadside cleanup efforts. Their contributions, along with those of many other volunteers, help make a visible difference throughout the community.

The dedication of our Litter Ambassadors—young and old—continues to support the mission of Keep the Bruce Clean & Green, an inspiring example of what can be achieved when a community works together toward a common goal.

KTBC&G is always looking for volunteers to join our growing team of Litter Ambassadors. Tools and supplies are provided. Anyone interested in participating can contact Keep the Bruce Clean & Green by email at keepthebruceclean@gmail.com.
