Here we are in the middle of February! Some warmer weather, back to winter and some hints of Spring. A little of everything to keep us on our toes!

I know I have written this last submission but I wanted to remind you that 2026 celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion – a century of standing with Veterans, strengthening communities and honouring the memory of those who served. To celebrate, the Tobermory Legion is offering to any new member, a free membership for the first year. If you have been considering joining, this is your ‘free’ chance. We would love to add more people to this great organization.

JOB OPPORTUNITY: The Tobermory Legion is looking for a new Bartender. The position will begin on April 30, 2026. If you are interested in this position, please contact Dan Mackey at 519-379-7701.

The Executive and General legion meetings are at 2:00 and 3:00 pm respectively, on the second Tuesday of the month. Please consider joining, and become an active member in your branch.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Dan Mackey and Peri Papadopolous as they have recently qualified to play in the darts provincial doubles to be held in April.

Meat draws are happening on Saturdays starting at 4:30pm. On the second Friday of the month, come and test your smarts with Trivia night – bring some friends or join a team. Trivia starts at 7:00pm. On the last Friday of the month (next one February 27th), come with friends or join a group and play euchre. Doors open at 6:45 and games start at 7:00pm. Try your luck at darts, every Thursday starting at 3:00pm.
