Studio Tour to Feature 47 Artists and 25 Studios

By Joanne Rodgers, Bruce Peninsula Press

The Studio Tour 2025 will be held on 23 and 24 August from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. The popular tour draws locals, cottagers, their families and friends. Many of the patrons participate in the Studio Tour year after year. Some patrons, coming from the nearby urban centres, specially plan a weekend getaway trip to visit the art studios.

The Studio Tour is now the largest regional studio tour event, this year featuring 47 artists and 25 studios. Eleven artists new to the Studio Tour will be participating this year.

The Studio Tour is hosted yearly on the third weekend in August by the Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists  (BPSA) and is free to attend.  It is a great opportunity to meet the artists in their home studios and see the areas that inspire their creativity.

So plan a relaxing weekend, travel along picturesque back roads and country lanes, savor the beauty of the Northern Bruce Peninsula, as you visit your favorite artists and discover new favorite ones.

There is art to suit every taste and the chance to see something new. The talents, creativity and diversity of the local artists are on full display.  You will discover beautiful works of art in various media including watercolours, oil and acrylic paintings, photographs, wire and stone creations, wood turning, wood sculptures, fibre art, clay art, jewelry, hand woven/knit/dyed textile products, kiln-fired glass, pottery and handcrafted soaps.

The regular patrons look forward to the Studio Tour not only to view great art, but as a social outing to meet neighbours, friends and fellow art lovers. It is a day out to enjoy stunning scenery, beautiful art and delicious food along the way.
