(Grey Bruce, ON) – The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is releasing the results of its recent seatbelt campaign over the Easter long weekend.

Grey Bruce OPP officers issued 132 tickets to individuals to be found in violation of Ontario’s seatbelt laws during the four-day campaign, which ran from April 18, 2025, until April 21, 2025.

Grey Bruce OPP officers focused on ensuring drivers and passengers within Grey Bruce were properly wearing their seatbelts. Lack of seatbelt use is a leading contributing factor to death, injuries and property damage on local roads.

The Grey Bruce OPP reminds all drivers and passengers that wearing a seatbelt is the single most effective way to reduce the risk of injury or death in a motor vehicle collision. Buckle up, every trip, every time.
