What do Unions, Beef and ATVs have in common? Supporting your community!
Recently Unifor Local 2458, TLMH Riverside Farms and the South Bruce Peninsula ATV Club all made generous donations to The Lion’s Head & District Food Bank.
The core mandate of Unifor is to be an effective union that is built by its members and deeply rooted in community. Unifor represents employees of the Golden Dawn Senior Citizen Home. On behalf of these employees, $1,500.00 has been donated to the food bank.
Tyler Hayes on behalf of TLMH Riverside Farms donated 690 pounds of beef … steaks, roasts and ground beef for our food bank clients. What a treat for our clients!
South Bruce Peninsula ATV sent their annual donation as well, which really helps with our regular hamper program. Food bank client numbers are at an all-time high in the Lion’s Head and surrounding area. The food bank strives to provide nutritional food items and every donation received helps us meet this goal.
