July 24, 2024 – The Rotary Club is looking forward to serving you at our third community Pancake Breakfast of the season. It will be held on the August Civic Holiday weekend, on Sunday, August 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Rotary Pavilion adjacent to Lion’s Head Beach. Come and enjoy fresh cooked pancakes with real maple syrup, pork sausages, scrambled eggs, and hash browns, all served with coffee and orange juice. We hope to see you there! Please bring your own plate and cutlery if you can to help reduce waste!
Rotary thanks the many ‘Friends of Rotary’ who help out with our Pancake Breakfast events. We also thank our generous individual and business sponsors who provide product or financial support to help defray the costs of putting on our Pancake Breakfasts, allowing Rotary to return more money from our fundraisers directly back to our community. Thank you all!
Rotary Club Welcomes 3 New Members
At our July 16 Rotary meeting and BBQ social event, we were thrilled to have an induction ceremony to formally welcome two of our newest members, Sue Kolundzic of Lion’s Head and Tanner Blasko of Cape Chin, into our Rotary fellowship. A third new member, Mary Fowler, was unable to attend due to illness, but we look forward to her formal induction ceremony in the near future.
A warm welcome to all our new members, and we look forward to spending time getting to know you and working together to provide service to our community.

Next Trivia Night at Rotary Hall Saturday, August 24
Another fun Trivia Night is planned at Rotary Hall on Saturday, August 24. Hosted by Caeli Mazara and Eric Perez, the game runs from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at Rotary Hall, with doors and the bar opening at 7:00 PM. There will be a $5.00 entry free, and fun prizes for the winning team. Test your trivia knowledge and have some fun – hope to see you there!
Rotary Exchange Student – Host Families Urgently Needed!
Your local Rotary Club is sponsoring a student from Taiwan for the upcoming school year (2024-2025) and is searching for some families in Northern Bruce Peninsula that would be willing to host the student for 3 – 4 months in the Fall, Winter or Spring terms.
