Lion’s Head Annual Sailboat races were held on 8 and 9 June 2024 on Isthmus Bay. Ten boats competed in the Saturday races with Tim Matheson describing the conditions as “variable winds, breezy across top of Isthmus Bay and out around Jackson’s Shoal”.

Sunday, the sailboats were back for the third race, with a much rainier start than the previous day, but with a sunny finish.

There was a good turnout of boats and crews. Teak Lite, an Andrew ‘70 offshore racing yacht participated on both days and was the winner of the races.
