Do you have a ukulele languishing in it’s case because you don’t know how to play it? Or, do you play the ukulele and would like to help others learn? Either way, you might be a potential member of the Northern Bruce Ukulele Club (NB-UKE). Right now this club is pretty exclusive, as there are only four members, but we want to change that! This is a huge opportunity to get on the ground floor of perhaps the fastest growing club anywhere!
There are no dues, just bring your ukulele and some songs you know or would like to learn, and join with a fun-loving bunch of people with great potential to become the next Elvis! (Elvis had a ukulele! Did you ever see Blue Hawaii?)
Where shall we meet? At The Meeting Place (TMP), of course! The TMP Board has unanimously approved the hosting duties of our start-up, and we will have access to electronic gear such as amps, mics and speakers to practice with as we become more accomplished players. One objective I have is for us to play at a future Open Mic night!
If the opportunity to learn to play your ukulele excites you, or you just want to be part of the action, please contact Jace Weir at 519-596-2057 or by email jacemweir@gmail.com or Danielle Vaccari at 647-291-8336 or by email danielle@naturesgifts.ca
We hope to get underway this month, so don’t miss out!
