Support for Bruce Peninsula Hospice services has come forward from a collaborative group of Hardware Stores serving the Bruce Peninsula. Collectively they have donated over $5,000 for 2023 with plans to support hospice for 3 years.
A HUGE thank you to Miller’s Home Hardware Building Centre, Sauble Beach; Scott’s Home Hardware, Lion’s Head; Wilson Home Building Centre, Lion’s Head; Miller Lake RONA, Miller Lake; Wiarton Home Hardware Building Centre and Wiarton Home Design Centre, Wiarton.
As Bettyanne Waddington, Chair of Bruce Peninsula Hospice was quoted, “these generous contributions of our business community along with our dedicated team illustrate the power of ‘local people helping local people’”.
Bruce Peninsula Hospice has provided in-home support, respite and bereavement care to our community for over 28 years, proudly serving residents within the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Northern Bruce Peninsula and areas of Georgian Bluffs.
One of the first volunteer Hospice services in Grey Bruce, our well-trained volunteers provide supportive and compassionate, non-medical care to individuals and their families who choose end-of-life care and /or bereavement support.
