Wiarton resident Brenda Foster is a travel enthusiast who led student trips for 35 years. As a retired teacher, she is now able to volunteer her time organizing trips for local adults looking to travel overseas with other people from the Bruce Peninsula.
A few years ago, 27 people from the area travelled to Scotland and Ireland and this October, 30 adults are accompanying Brenda to Italy.
The next adventure is a 12 day trip to Spain, from April 29 to May 10, 2024. The itinerary has been designed by Brenda, hitting all of her favourite spots: Barcelona, Madrid, Segovia, Seville, and the Alhambra. A bonus is a full day trip to Morocco and an extension to Lisbon, Portugal.
Brenda does not earn money for this – it’s a labour of love. Brenda coordinates with a travel company, Explorica, the one she used for students since 2001.
