Volunteers from the Tobermory Health Services Auxiliary (THSA) served up more than 160 pancake breakfasts during its Chi-Cheemaun Festival Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser.

Community members, baseball tournament participants, and visitors to Tobermory alike enjoyed a hearty breakfast before heading off to enjoy the day’s festivities. Thanks to their support, the event raised close to $2,250 to help enhance local health care services and support THSA initiatives benefiting residents of the Northern Bruce Peninsula.

The fundraiser was successful not only because of the strong community turnout, but also because of the generosity of THSA members who donated food items and made financial contributions, essentially covering all event expenses. As a result, nearly all proceeds from the event will be directed toward local health care initiatives.

The THSA extends its sincere thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered their time and energy, donated, and helped make this event such a success. Special recognition and appreciation is extended to Rob Davis, THSA Past President, who organized and coordinated the breakfast.

Stay tuned for future announcements highlighting how the funds raised through this event will be invested to support and enhance health care services throughout the Northern Bruce Peninsula.
