On July 31, 35 sailboats sailed out from the Lion’s Head Marina onto Isthmus Bay heading to Wiarton. The sailboats were participating in the 36th Annual Georgian Bay Sailing Regatta 2022 which took place from July 28 to 31, 2022.
Starting Thursday in Meaford, they sailed to Cloud Island, on Friday they sailed to Hope Bay, arriving in Lion’s Head on Saturday evening where they spent the night.
Leaving Lion’s Head on the morning of July 31, they headed to Wiarton which was the final stop for the regatta.
The annual regatta is organized by the Georgian Bay Sailing Association.
