Police Seeking Public Assistance
(NEYAASHIINIGMIING
FIRST NATION, ON) – Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation Police, and Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person from Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation
Police are looking to locate Sonya NADJIWON, 30-years-of-age, from Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation, who was last seen on Lighthouse Road on Thursday June 2, 2022, at 5:30 p.m.
She is an Indigenous female described as:
· 165 centimeters (5 feet, 5 inches) tall.

· 50 kilograms (110 pounds) with a slim build.
· Medium light brown hair which she often wears up.
· Brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, grey shorts, and white and brown running shoes.

DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING AFTER COLLISION
(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) On June 15, 2022, at approximately 5:48 p.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single-vehicle collision on Meadowland Road in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
Police arrived on scene and located the driver of the motor vehicle. Officers detected signs of impairment and placed the driver under arrest. They were transported to a local police detachment for further testing.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 46 year old from Sauble Beach, with the following offences:
· Operation while impaired – alcohol
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
DRIVER CHARGED AFTER COLLISION WITH MOTORCYCLE
(GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) On June 13, 2022, at approximately 2:21 p.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Grey County Paramedic Services (PS) and the Inter-Township Fire Department responded to motor vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle on Highway 6-10 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The rider of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged the driver of the passenger vehicle, a 32-year-old male from Grey Highlands, with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
