The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jack Burt as Fire Chief.
Jack brings over 20 years experience and a wealth of knowledge to this role, beginning in South Bruce Peninsula to his most recent position as Acting Deputy Fire Chief with the City of London Fire Department.
“On behalf of Northern Bruce Peninsula Council, I want to congratulate Jack on his appointment”, stated Mayor Milt McIver. “This is an important position and demonstrates our commitment to the health, safety and education of the Municipality.”
The Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire Department is an essential service and important part of this community. The Department and its volunteer members give tirelessly to our community.
Chief Burt stated, “I’m excited for the opportunity to work with the Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire Department and I am looking forward to being a part of the community.” He continued, “It is my distinct honour to join NBPFD and continue the legacy of fire and life safety in Northern Bruce Peninsula.”
Chief Burt will join the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula on May 17th, 2021.
