On Wednesday, March 25th residents of the Wiarton Retirement Residence received their second shot of the COVID 19 vaccine.
“Grey Bruce Public Health did a great job with the roll out to our retirement residence. We are very excited to report that we had 100% vaccine uptake from our residents and 85% vaccine uptake for staff.” said Wiarton Retirement Residence owner Donna Sauve. “There is a great sense of relief among residents and staff knowing they now have this added level of protection, especially since we are now entering a 3rd wave and stay at home order in Ontario.”
