The Lion’s Head & District Food Bank will be offering Thanksgiving hampers again this fall. The hamper will include a turkey, dressing, cranberries, potatoes, vegetable and dessert. The hampers will be available for pickup on Thursday October 8. You must order your hamper by October 1 by calling or texting 519-378-8842 or by emailing lhdfoodbank@gmail.com.
Delivery can be arranged if needed. If you are unable to financially purchase a thanksgiving dinner for yourself or your family, please do not hesitate to order a hamper.
Lemonade Stand to Support Food Bank
Two local Stokes Bay boys, Alex and Carson, along with their cousin Evan set up a lemonade stand in Stokes Bay recently. They earned $50.00 which they donated to the Lion’s Head & District Food Bank. Good work!
