BPHSF Media Release

BPHS Foundation is thrilled to share that on February 21st, five local, lucky Hooked on Health ticket holders were the winners of six great prizes. Our grand prize winner is Nancy Armstrong, she won $1000! Jean Sadler was the lucky 2nd prize winner of $800. Tom Wheildon was extremely lucky in winning the 3rd and 5th prizes totaling $800 and Elaine Foris won the 4th prize of an ipad, generously provided by Bruce Power. Thanks to these long time ticket buyers, and to everyone who participated; this year’s Hooked on Health Lottery raised $10,680 for the new MRI, fulfilling BPHSF’s fundraising goal of $450,000 for this critical, regional service.

A special thank you to the Wiarton Family Physicians for generously providing the cash prizes for Hooked on Health again this year. The care that our doctors provide to our community reaches far beyond the hospital corridors and exam rooms.
