At the 2019 Retired Women Teachers of Ontario/Organisation des Enseignantes Retraitees de l’Ontario Provincial Convention, Sharron Colter of the Wiarton Branch was one of the three recipients of the Honorary Membership Award. This is the highest honour that RWTO/OERO bestows to a member who exhibits outstanding service at the Provincial level.
Sharron is presently the RWTO/OERO Past Provincial President, but has held many other Provincial positions. It was said that with each position, Sharron has been committed, open minded, creative and demonstrates a caring and sharing attitude.
