On August 8, Friends of the Lion’s Head Library held their 7th annual used book sale.
Many patrons were lined up outside the arena before the sale opened to get the best selection – and what a selection they had!
Many thanks to the donors of used books and to all the volunteers who made the sale a good time for all. A special thanks to NBP Municipality staff, Milt, and to members of the Lion’s Head Pickleball Club for their help in setting up and taking down for the event.
Approximately $7,600.00 was raised. The funds will be used to assist the Bruce County Library Board to purchase furniture and fixtures for the anticipated future new Lion’s Head Library and with the cost of programs at the library.
Friends is looking forward to hosting an even bigger and better sale next year!
