Summer is always a busy time of year and it is hard to believe that it is half over! The Peninsula SWANS’ regular meetings are not held in July and August, but the Club stays active with some catering events and our Treasurer continues to make donations that have been passed by the members in our annual budget.
In a timely fashion, our Treasurer Bev Miller delivered our donation of $600.00 to Katherine Crivea at the Bruce Peninsula Family Centre to help with the costs of summer activities for the children. It is so important that the summer be a fun time!
So, without meetings, there is very little to report, but the SWANS do hope your summer is going well. The weather remains interesting every day but we are so fortunate compared to many other parts of Ontario, so count our blessings and enjoy!
