To celebrate turning five, 91.9 The Bruce invites the community to their Bruce Birthday Bash at the Lion’s Head Arena on June 6, 2026. Emcees for the event will be well-known radio personalities “Longy and Brougher” and “Rockin Robin”. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation.
Lion’s Head area native Mike Brough is pleased to bring the dance party to his hometown and says it is a good central location to draw people from Wiarton to Tobermory. He says “We’ll raise some money and raise the roof. Classic rock with Road Rash Band.”

The Bruce Birthday Bash is open to adults 19 years and older.
Expect some great door prizes and giveaways. Also, the Lion’s Head Hospital Auxiliary has organized a 50/50 draw, with tickets on sale now. Brough promises fun games and a few surprises.
Food can be purchased from the Booth and the bar will be operated by the Nor’ths of The Checkerboard hockey team.
