Local Owen Sound music legend Larry Jensen, along with Al Walker and Dan Salvendy, entertained over 70 people at their recent concert held at Rotary Hall on Saturday, October 21st (see photo). Many of the songs performed through the concert were originals, stories about personal life struggles. The trio of musicians received a standing ovation from the appreciative audience. Proceeds from this Rotary sponsored fundraiser will go towards the Golden Dawn Hallway redecorating project.
‘Spooktacular’ Trivia Night at Rotary Hall

The second Trivia Night event sponsored by Rotary, hosted by Caeli Mazara and Eric Perez, and held at Rotary Hall on Friday, October 27th was a great success! People had a lot of fun, and turnout increased by two-thirds (from 33 to 55 participants), compared to last month’s first Trivia Night event at Rotary Hall! Food was available for purchase including hot dogs, pretzels, pickles and chips.
Heather Bryans won the prize (an Oktoberfest beer stein) for ‘Best Costume’ of the evening (see photo), and the winning team that evening was ‘The Halloweenies’ which included participants Adam, Kate, Graham, Tina, Trace and Steve.
Thanks to all the participants who came out that evening to take part in this Trivia Night community event!
Another Trivia Night at Rotary Hall is tentatively planned for November, and details about this coming event will be posted on our Rotary Club facebook page which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/RotaryNBP/
We hope to see you there!
