Lion’s Head and District Curling Club wrapped up the first draw of the season November 28. The winning team skipped by Doug Hill received gift cards generously donated by Scott’s Home Hardware.
Hot on Doug’s heels were Brad Rogers’ team followed closely by Katie Reimer-Catteau in third place. All teams played hard, shaking out the cobwebs of summer to enjoy stiff competition across the board.
We welcomed several new curlers to start the season. Anyone interested in curling Monday evenings can contact Betty Hastings, our drawmaster at 416-805-5830.
Arena curling is alive and well in Lion’s Head. A big thank you goes out to Scott’s Home Hardware for supporting curling in North Bruce.
