Karen and Lynn Watson have generously displayed the KEEP THE BRUCE CLEAN & GREEN message on their roadside sign since 2016. The sign recently underwent a ”facelift”. Thank you to the Watsons for their continued support of KEEP THE BRUCE CLEAN & GREEN.
The the last few years numerous individuals, businesses, and groups support KEEP THE BRUCE CLEAN & GREEN, helping to preserve the Bruce Peninsula for future generations. Your group, business or individuals may not be mentioned here and in future articles, but your efforts are appreciated. As the Bruce Trail Conservancy indicates “SMALL ACTIONS MAKE BIG CHANGES.”
We would like to thank the Nature Conservancy of Canada on its expansion to combat invasive species, Bruce Peninsula Sportsmen’s Association on its boot scrubbers, S.W.A.N.S for cleaning a portion of Hwy. 6 every year, Jacqui Wakefield of MNBP for her excellent articles on recycling and composting and the Municipality for their continued support, Sources of Knowledge for the Seabin Citizen Science water quality monitoring project and its environmental conferences, BPEG for all its initiatives such as Climate Action, and the Bruce Peninsula School District students for cleaning the area.
Watch for more KTBC&G supporters in future issues of the Bruce Peninsula Press.
