Local families came out to enjoy an afternoon of festivities at the Lion’s Head Arena on 16 February 2026 for Family Day.
A variety of games and temporary tattoos were available, sponsored by the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula. Parents and kids quickly enlisted their friends, and made new friends, as they played the various board games. The kids were happy to select a snowflake tattoo to commemorate the afternoon of fun.
The free skate was sponsored by Collins Excavating and attracted family members of all ages. Hockey players, speed skaters, ice dancers and leisure skaters enjoyed the afternoon skate. At one time there were over fifty kids on the ice.
