Signature Contractors based in Windsor, ON was awarded the contract for Main Street Lion’s Head Sidewalk Reconstruction and Upgrades. This work in May 2025 involved replacing the interlock sidewalk with concrete on Main Street between Webster and the intersection of Edgewood/Scott Streets and from John Street south to Moore Street and the Lion’s Head United Church. The main reasons for the upgrade has been in response to walkability and safety concerns.

The work has been on-going during the first two weeks in May and the site manager expects the work will be completed as scheduled within the two week period.

Businesses and facilities have remained open and accessible during this sidewalk project, however at times with some slight detours to entry to the buildings.
