November 19, 2024 – Chesley, ON – There are no changes in leadership for Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB) following annual elections at the November 19, 2024 Initial Meeting of the Board.
For a fifth consecutive one-year term, Town of South Bruce Peninsula/Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula Trustee Jane Thomson will serve as Chair after being elected to the position.
Acclaimed as Vice-Chair was Municipality of Kincardine/Township of Huron-Kinloss Trustee Jan Johnstone, who will serve in the position for a fifth straight one-year term.
Congratulations are extended to both Chair Thomson and Vice-Chair Johnstone as they return to their executive roles with the Board of Trustees. They are owed many thanks for their steadfast commitment and years of vast experience and strong leadership in supporting success and well-being for all Bluewater District School Board students.
