Tobermory Primary Place (TPP) is very excited to announce the purchase of our new much-anticipated playground equipment! This has been a work in progress for 2 years and had been in planning stages since before then. Thanks to the efforts of our community fundraisers and generosity, we have finally made this goal come to fruition! This playground equipment will last a lifetime and provide ample development opportunities across the age groups here at TPP. Already, the children absolutely love crawling through the tunnel, riding bikes over the bridge, and practicing their balance skills on the stepping stones and balance beams.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the donors who donated funds specifically for this cause: Amy Hofstrand, Wanda Thompson, Carrie King, Jeff Hubert, Max Lough, Alexandra Routledge, The Ladies Auxiliary, The Royal Canadian Legion (Tobermory Branch), The Men’s Breakfast Club, Las Chulas and many more! The support from our community to help us continue to provide the quality of care that we strive for is appreciated and never goes unnoticed.
Everyone at TPP would like to extend a huge thank you to Mrs. Andrea Munn who put this playground vision together for us and helped us to see it through. Without her research finding this and incredible dedication to making this happen for our children – we wouldn’t be seeing the smiling faces out there today with their new equipment. THANK YOU.
