Although there is another month of outdoor play, Tobermory Pickleball Club held it’s third annual outdoor year end tournament on Sunday, September 22nd.
36 players and a handful of volunteers kept the courts full and the games moving until the winners were determined.
1st place was Louise Johnstone, 2nd place Ray Burns and 3rd place Lisa Girard.
Fun Facts about Tobermory Pickleball Club:
– 103 members,
– Welcomed 152 paying guests this year (furthest was a young man from India),
– Paid the Municipality $2,550 in 2024 for use of facilities,
– Used 87 indoor balls and 105 outdoor balls this year.
New members are always welcome. Our goal is to be the most inclusive Pickleball Club around.
